Class 6100 Graphotypes

This class of Graphotypes are all hand operated. They are used for embossing and maintaining small lists. Embossing pressure is machine controlled and quality of embossing does not depend on skill or strength of operator. Characters to be embossed are selected by means of a hand wheel and character scale. Three series are available in this Class, namely 6140, 6150 and 6180 with die head capabilities of 44, 56 and 80 characters respectively. The Series 6140 machines emboss capital letters of the alphabet, punctuation marks and numerals. The Series 6150 machines emboss the same characters as the Series 6140 plus large numerals, generally used for small payrolls requiring clock numbers on payroll forms. The Series 6180 emboss capital and small letters of the alphabet, punctuation marks and numerals.

All machines in this class are equipped with copy holders. Series 6150 and 6180 are equipped with back spacers.

Optional equipment includes a stand, plate roller, plate tray (supplied with machine if equipped with a stand), extra carriages, tool drawer, dies and punches and light fixture.  For normal use, machines in this Class usually require a stand, plate roller, light fixture and tool drawer.  For complete information and prices consult your Addressograph Sales Agency.
