Stamped Out

World War I Tags

General Order No. 204 from 20 DEC 1906, requires the wearing of 1 tag at all times the field kit is worn.  This helps set the stage for the WWI period.  From 1917 to 1919 there will be 18 more changes to identification tag regulations.

The two most common tag styles you will see issued during WWI are the M1906 and M1910 styles, however the M1917, M1918, and M1918A were also issued during this time.

Stamped Out offers reproduction M1910 Identification Discs in our catalog here.
