These tags are reproductions of the original tags issued to the troops before WWI began.

Issued on December 20, 1906, General Order Number 204 required each person in the Army to wear an Identification Tag. The regulations were changed on July 6, 1916 to require each person to wear two tags.

When you purchase this item you will receive two blank reporduction M1910/M1917A tags. We are currently working on securing a supply of cloth tape for the necklace.
