In this day and age identity theft is a very real concearn that Stamped Out does not take lightly.  Since identity theft is so prevelant Stamped Out has decided to dedicate a special page to the use of Social Security Numbers (SSN) and/or Date Of Birth (DOB) information on personal identification tags.

Stamped Out  prides it's self on offering Genuine Issue military identification tags (dog tags) custom imprinted with your supplied information.

  Current issue military identification tags utilize a format that contains both name information as well as Social Security Number (SSN) information.  Placing name with SSN and/or DOB information together demands that such information not fall into the wrong hands.  It is for this reason that we encourage to you fully understand the implications of placing your SSN and/or DOB information on dog tags. 

While Stamped Out  offers our customers the most accurate and authentic identification tags possible we must make mention of the use of Social Security Number (SSN) and/or Date Of Birth (DOB) information on personal identification tags.

  Our standing policy as it relates to the use of SSN and/or DOB is: 

  Stamped Out recommends against placing Social Security Number (SSN) and/or Date Of Birth (DOB) on any dog tags or identification tags that are intended for EITHER children under the age of 18 or ANYONE who is prone to loosing or misplacing things.   

The above being stated; Stamped Out  WILL imprint anything a customer wants on his/her identification tags and we will print Social Security Number (SSN) and/or Date Of Birth (DOB) if requested to do so.

One option to maintain authenticity but not to jeapordize security is to alter the last two or four digits of the Social Security Number (SSN) or to replace the Social Security Number with something such as a phone number or other number.

  AT THE POINT WHEN STAMPED OUT DELIVERS A CUSTOMIZED PRODUCT TO THE SHIPPER/CARRIER OR END PURCHASER THAT PRODUCT AND THE INFORMATION CONTAINED ON THAT PRODUCT ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE SHIPPER/CARRIER AND/OR END USER. 

  STAMPED OUT IS NOT LIABLE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES FOR THE USE OR MISUSE OF ANY CUSTOMIZED PRODUCT OR THE INFORMATION CONTAINED THEREON ANY CUSTOMIZED PRODUCT ONCE IT LEAVES OUR FACILITY OR IS DELIVERED TO THE SHIPPER/CARRIER OR END USER. 

  IN REGARDS TO SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBERS AND/OR DATE OF BIRTH YOU ARE ENCOURAGED TO REVIEW OUR CONDITIONS OF USE POLICY PUBLISHED ON THIS WEB SITE. IF FOR SOME REASON YOU ARE UNABLE TO VIEW THE CONDITIONS OF USE POLICY CONTACT  STAMPED OUT DIRECTLY FOR CLEARIFICATION.   

If you - the purchaser - elect to have your SSN or DOB printed on identification tags we will imprint this information on the tags you select. Our policy as it relates to the storage of the SSN is we will treat it as we do any other personal information and it will be governed the other stated policies located on this web site.

Stamped Out does at times make mistakes when imprinting or customizing items including identification tags.  All imprinted items or customized items not delivered to the customer are stored as waste in a secure area until they are disposed of.  Disposal of "mistake" dog tags is accomplished by shredding or melting of the dog tag plates.  NO dog tag plates are sold, given, loaned, thrown away or disposed of in any other manner under any circumstances. 

Stamped Out does NOT "farm-out" work to other companies, NO one else handles our identification tags.  NO one outside of Stamped Out has access to ANY of your personal information.

If you "the purchaser", requests that we produce authentic military dog tags with the proper military format of: Name, SSN, Blood type and Religion - we will deliver to you "the purchaser", dog tags imprinted as per your request. 

Many times parents will want to put a childs name and DOB information on the same tag.  We recommend against this.  If a parent wants to celebrate a childs Date Of Birth we recommend using just the year of birth and not the month and day in conjunction with the year.
